Here is the way it works...... The ECU reads zero to 5 volts, the single pop program will max out the ECU table at 500 HP, the ECU will not be able to read additional air past 500 HP because the scale is maxed out. Going to a dual pop program allows the scale to max out at 1000HP. The Transtator set to ADD will add the 2 MAF voltages together and send the ECU the full total, this has the same effect as one MAF on a TEE and requires a single pop program. The translator set to AVG will add the 2 voltages together and only send the ECU half of the total voltage, this requires a dual pop program. A dual pop program will have the injector size doubled, so if you have the translator set to ADD with a dual pop program, it is telling the ECU it is seeing double the actual load, this will move you over in the ECU load tables and make a extreme rich mixture, it will also move you over in the ECU timing load map.
